My name is Adam Tamariki and I am very proud to be serving as the Principal of Te Paina School. We are an amazing Year 1-8 rural school situated in the heart of the Mercer community. We have a fantastic team who are passionate about our tamariki and making learning fun and engaging. Our akonga are actively engaged in their learning journey. We encourage our students to explore, discover and lead their learning through hands on experiences and a range of learning opportunities. Please come and visit us at Te Paina. We would very much love to have you be a part of our learning community here at Te Paina School.

We have had a notification of nits from a parent. Please be on the look out for nits in your chil/rens hair and treat accordingly. If students can come to school with hair tidy or tidied up with a hair band that should reduce any spread.

On Thursday 18th September, Te Paina School will host a HEROES DAY and HERO DASH afternoon to support the Heart Kids kaupapa!
On this day we want EVERYONE to come dressed up as their favourite HERO! Please give generously and click on the link to donate to the cause!
