My name is Adam Tamariki and I am very proud to be serving as the Principal of Te Paina School. We are an amazing Year 1-8 rural school situated in the heart of the Mercer community. We have a fantastic team who are passionate about our tamariki and making learning fun and engaging. Our akonga are actively engaged in their learning journey. Kia Ora whaanau,
Arohamai for the very late notice - Harakeke and Tuatoru have been asked by our kaumatua and whaanau of Meremere Puutaiao Society to look at the river bed and area around the Te Araroa track over the next hour until lunch time. All tamariki will be transported in fully registered and fully licensed drivers for this short trip down the road.
Those who are not allowed to do day trips will remain at school with Whaea Bonnie and Whaea Shirley.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact via email. We will be back at school by lunchtime. Near the school and offsite for an hour.
Ngaa mihi,
Team Te Paina
