My name is Adam Tamariki and I am very proud to be serving as the Principal of Te Paina School. We are an amazing Year 1-8 rural school situated in the heart of the Mercer community. We have a fantastic team who are passionate about our tamariki and making learning fun and engaging. Our akonga are actively engaged in their learning journey. We encourage our students to explore, discover and lead their learning through hands on experiences and a range of learning opportunities. Please come and visit us at Te Paina. We would very much love to have you be a part of our learning community here at Te Paina School.

WEEK 4 REMINDERS:
Hats, Water bottles, Swimming togs Sunscreen on before you come to school! - Set them up the night before if you can!
Dollar for Schools - Order Sushi every Wednesday! - Get your orders in using the dollarforschools website.
Year 4-8 Camp Notice - This went home on Tuesday - If you need more information please email Whaea Haley or Whaea Sarah.
Hot Cross Buns Fundraiser - This has been posted on our Facebook page - Please support our fundraisers to help our school. Feel free to share with whaanau.
Reminder - The School Office is closed on Thursdays and Fridays - If you try to call the office there isn't anyone there on those days. Please email if you need anything on these days.
Stationery payments - Please still get these in to the office or contact Whaea Anne if you need to make a payment plan. $30 per student for the year. Thank you.
Learning Journey Meetings - This Tuesday and Wednesday - Please make an appointment with your child's teacher on Skool Loop - click on "Bookings" - Reminder Tuatoru (Whaea Sarah) will be done at a later date. This is only for Tuatahi (Whaea Bonnie), Tuarua (Whaea Shirley) and Harakeke (Whaea Haley).
