My name is Adam Tamariki and I am very proud to be serving as the Principal of Te Paina School. We are an amazing Year 1-8 rural school situated in the heart of the Mercer community. We have a fantastic team who are passionate about our tamariki and making learning fun and engaging. Our akonga are actively engaged in their learning journey. We encourage our students to explore, discover and lead their learning through hands on experiences and a range of learning opportunities. Please come and visit us at Te Paina. We would very much love to have you be a part of our learning community here at Te Paina School.

We have been informed of a case of head lice in our junior classrooms. Please thoroughly check your children's hair tonight and please let the school know if you need any treatment.
Thank you to the whaanau for letting us know.
It is very important for our children to keep their hair tied up, especially when swimming in the school pool.
